Happy Holidays Brethren!
We are just a couple of short weeks away from closing the book that is 2021 and turning the first page on a brand new year. For everyone who took the time to tune in to our telethon, donated to our charities, or gave back to a Brother with your time or resources over the last year, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our fraternity is strong because of your unwavering generosity, hard work, and Brotherly love.

While it would be easy to stop and rest on our laurels, our indefatigable team here at headquarters plans no such thing. We have a number of major initiatives coming your way in the new year. Yes, Thursday Night at the Rite will return per popular demand. Details for a new season are being finalized, and we will announce the lineup as soon as we can. And that's just the beginning. 2022 will be filled with member enrichment initiatives coming from the Supreme Council and your Valleys. Stay tuned.

Wishing you and your family a joyful holiday season, and may God bless each and every one of you.

Fraternally,

Ill. Peter J Samiec, 33°

Lights. Camera. Telethon!

Despite the obstacles of the past year, you were there. In times of distress, Scottish Rite Masons stepped up and were a source of strength for brethren in need. We invite you to join us on November 30th to honor and celebrate those amazing efforts at our annual Giving Tuesday Telethon.

Giving Tuesday is a national celebration of charity and a day dedicated to giving back. At this year’s telethon, we will be raising funds for the Scottish Rite Benevolent Fund, benefitting our charities. Featuring special guest appearances, stories from those positively impacted by the generosity of the Scottish Rite, and much more – you won't want to miss this LIVE event!

Greetings My Brothers!
I am pleased to announce that our Supreme Council has recently selected a new Grand Almoner who will serve in my former capacity, Ill. Brother Alan Heath, 33°. Brother Heath is an Active Member for the state of Maine, and is looking forward to his new role as your Grand Almoner. Our Grand Almoner's Fund serves as a lifeline to our Brothers and their families who are experiencing hardship, whether it be from a natural disaster, illness, a loss of income, or some other unforeseen crisis and I know Alan will continue to handle all requests rapidly and discretely.

Our Blue Envelope appeal kicks off the month of October, and it should be arriving in your mailbox very soon. With your support we can continue the many good works of our charities.

You can visit srnmj.org/donate to make your tax-deductible Blue Envelope donation today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your contribution.

Fraternally,
Sovereign Grand Commander
Ill. Brother Peter John Samiec, 33°
